He was born in 1975 in Keskin, Kırıkkale. He graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Theology in 1997. In 1999, he completed his master’s degree at Sakarya University, Institute of Social Sciences with his thesis titled “Muqātil ibn Sulaymān’s Method of The interpretation of the Qur’ān” and in 2006, he completed his doctorate at Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences with his thesis titled “Sayyid Sharīf al-Jurjānī’s Understanding of The interpretation: Metaphysical, Logical and Linguistic Foundations of Interpretation” at Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences in 2006.
As of 2012, he started to work as an Assistant Professor at Marmara University Faculty of Theology. In 2012, he became Associate Professor and in 2017, Professor. In addition to his copyrighted work “The Problem of the Possibility of Metaphysical Knowledge in Avicenna’s Philosophy”, he has authored numerous articles and translations.
